HANGIN’ OUT DOWNTOWN (blue version)
A unique hand-printed monotype and linocut print.
An ideal gift for bird lovers, outdoor enthusiasts, and walkers.
Cheeky jackdaws that hang out around the spa town of Buxton in the Peak District inspired this piece.
To create this multi-colour print I used two linocut blocks (one for black; one for green/yellow) printed over a unique monotype background.
Inks used were oil-based and water-based inks on acid-free 220 gsm cartridge paper.
The print is unframed: image size approx 330mm high x 230mm wide. Paper size is A3 (420mm x 297mm) with a generous framing margin.
Each print is unique thanks to variations in background inking and hand-printing.
This print is from a signed, numbered edition of just 20. It comes with a certificate of authenticity.
I dispatch unframed prints in strong cardboard packaging to prevent postal damage.
COLOUR VARIATION: Photographs reproduce differently on different devices, depending on screen brightness, screen type and colour calibration. I cannot guarantee absolutely that what you see on your device is exactly the hue or tone of the print. However I take care to shoot my work carefully in natural light. I process photos for web publication without using filters.
